Threadless is starting to become an expensive obsession of mine, but I don’t feel too bad knowing I’m supporting artists like Phil, who created this awesome shirt. Han Solo as an actual Solo cup and Chewie as a Cookie is pretty clever, and I wish I’d thought of it.
Hans Off My Cookie! is available on Threadless, and would make a great gift for someone (like me).
It can get boring being a freelancer for a living (trust me), but I feel a little better today knowing that everyone’s favorite Bounty Hunter, Boba Fett, was a freelancer too. And in case you missed it a few weeks ago, he even has some snazzy invoices.

It’s now December, and even though I’ve been in full-on Christmas spirit for a couple weeks now, I feel like I can finally start proving it on the site. For some reason we’re getting a lot of our Christmas shopping done early this year, and that means I’ve been looking at a lot of toys. Unfortunately, I haven’t been looking at toys for myself, but at least I have an excuse to be in the toy aisle for a few weeks without getting weird looks.
Just yesterday I was picking up a couple toys for my nieces and nephews* at Target and I inevitebly wandered into the Star Wars section. There on the bottom shelf was a product I knew was designed just for me; a Galactic Heroes AT-AT.
Saturday Morning Central loves DK Publishing. They publish all sorts of awesome books that are equally as cool for adults as they are for kids. Back in October they let me participate in their blog team for the LEGO Star Wars Visual Dictionary celebration they had, and it was a lot of fun. Now they’re back with another Star Wars book, the Star Wars Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia.
The title is pretty self-explanatory, and if you’ve ever had one of DK’s books before, you know what to expect: large spreads of images packed to the gills with information and trivia. This title is no different. It’s just over 200 pages long, and has just as many characters. Since this is a character encyclopedia, obviously there isn’t any sections devoted to ships or planets, but you probably already knew that.
Who would have thought Williams-Sonoma products would be blowing up the geek blogs this Monday morning? Leave it to Star Wars to leave no product un-licensed. The Darth Vader toaster now has some breakfast buddies thanks to these awesome Pancake Molds and Cookie Cutters from Williams-Sonama.
