LEGO Angry Birds

How do you make something awesome even awesomer? You create it out of Lego bricks.

That’s exactly what Yiu Keung did with Rovio’s video game phenomenon. All your favorite birds of mass destruction are represented. There’s even the evil pigs and the slingshot.

Can you imagine tossing these around to create a smash-em-up, real-world version of the game? No, I can’t either.

LEGO Minifigures Wave 2 Preview

As if I didn’t already have plans to knock of a few banks in order to fund my upcoming LEGO Minfigures obsession, they had to go and release photos of the second series. In case you don’t know about them, it’s LEGO’s first foray into the world of blind-boxed minifigs. The first series includes ninjas, zombies, luchadores, and more.

Wave 1 doesn’t even come out until June, and I’m probably going to have to buy a few cases just to get enough LEGO Zombies to satisfy me. Now I’m going to have to buy even more to make sure I get enough LEGO Dracualas, mariachi dudes, and Spartans.

I also thought it was pretty nice of them to include the chiseled, blonde surfer guy, which is obviously me in minifigure form.

LEGO Harry Potter Trailer

LEGO Harry Potter

Oh great. Not only am I putting up with the fact that I’m slowing getting pulled into the Harry Potter world AND I’m addicted to the LEGO video games, but now there is a LEGO Harry Potter game. Good thing it doesn’t come out until 2010, because I would probably stop working, sleeping, and showering until I was done if it came out sooner.

The game will cover the first four books and movies, which I think will work out a lot better than the LEGO Indiana Jones games, which was three films in one game, followed by a new film plus the three last ones again. Yeah, 1-4 sounds a lot less confusing.

The Matrix LEGO Stop Motion Video

I try not to post stuff like this unless it’s really awesome. Some enterprising individuals decided to recreate the bullet-time sequence from the Matrix in stop motion with LEGO, and they did a bang-up job.

You can read more about it at their website.
