Awesome announcement today from Warner Brothers. All three Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies have been announced for Blu-ray (and standard DVD) release this August! I’m a big blu-ray fan so I was hoping they would at least release the first film in time for the Ninja Turtles’ 25th anniversary, and they aren’t disappointing. Come on August.

Again, the lack of posting here is because I’m working on a handful of exciting announcements that affect this site, and shoudl be annoucned by next week. Look for tons of TMNT coverage this year to celebrate the 25th Anniversary.

Unfortunately, Wall-e has not been nominated for Best Picture, only Best Animated Feature. I think it deserved the nomination and the win, but I guess the Academy didn’t think so.
