Ghostbusters

Check out this awesome retro-style Ghostbusters artwork Dave Perillo created for an 80s themed art show in Philadelphia. I’d love to have that marshmallow man on a shirt, but I guess I’ll have to settle for this one now.

I’m definitely going to be checking out his blog Montygog’s Art-o-Rama for more cool stuff, and you should too!

It turns out that TMNT Smash-Up isn’t the only new TMNT game coming out this year. Ninja Pizza just broke the news that there is a 3D remake of the classic Turtles In Time game in the works. A couple playable levels are traveling around with the TMNT Party Wagon on their 25th Anniversary tour! It looks like they’re basically just recreating the game with modern graphics, and even keeping the awesome music!

I love Jurassic Park. It is my favorite movie of all time, and it’s popularity spawned a lot of dinosaur hysteria in the 90s. I’ve wanted to express my love of 90s dinosaur nostalgia for a long time now. At first I was going to list the best dinosaur movies from the 90s, but quickly realized it would only be two movies long, maybe three. Instead, I’m taking all of the other films that couldn’t make that list, and giving you the 10 Worst Dinosaur Movies of the 90s.

Watch This: Moving Day – 1936 Disney Short

Posted 11 years ago by Animated Shorts

movingday2

Moving Day was a Disney short I watched constantly when I was little, and I make sure to pop it in every once in a while now. Everything from the visuals to the music and sound effects is super nostalgic for me. Goofy’s battle with the piano is classic, and Donald’s trouble with the plunger is great too.

You can read about this short on DisneyShorts.org or see it on Disney Treasures: Mickey Mouse in Living Color.

ThinkGeek Selling New Sega Dreamcasts

dreamcast

Talk about a blast from the past, ThinkGeek is selling in the box Sega Dreamcasts for $99! They’re out of stock already, but you can sign up to be notified when they become available again. What perfect timing, it’s coming up on 10 years since I bought my Sega Dreamcast, and since I only kept it for six months or so, I’d love to get my hands on one again.

If these become available again, I see some Power Stone 2, Shenmue, and Seaman in my future.

Did you have a Dreamcast? If so, what games did you play?
