Cadbury Mini Eggs
Mmm, Cadbury Mini Eggs…
I couldn’t care less about regular-type Cadbury Eggs. Simulating eating raw eggs isn’t one of my favorite pastimes, so I’ve always opted for the small, all chocolate eggs from Cadbury. If these were sold year round, I would probably never need M&Ms.
Snickers Eggs
Snickers is my favorite year-round candy bar, so I can’t stay away from the Snickers Eggs come Easter time. My wife is partial to the Milky Way eggs, but that’s just crazy. Also, I have to give an honorable mention to the Almond Joy eggs, even though this list would be pointless if it was just regular-candy-bars-in-egg-form.
Chocolate Bunnies
Chocolate bunnies may remind me of my childhood Easter memories the most. It was always the centerpiece of any Easter basket, and every year I wondered what brand and size it would be, as well as if it would be hollow or solid. One year I attempted to fill a hollow bunny with milk, and it actually worked, but was extremely dangerous. I never tried that again.
Reese’s Eggs
Even typing the name of this once-a-year delight makes my mouth water. When those familiar yellow packages start showing up in the stores, I get excited. I don’t know what it is about Reese’s in egg-form, but I think they taste better than any other incarnation. Unfortunately, they made this paper’s list of Easter candy to avoid, but oh well, Easter only comes once a year.
That about sums up my favorite Easter candy. You may be wondering why I didn’t include everyone’s favorite, Peeps. I may have liked Peeps at one point, but my Mother had an affinity for letting them sit out so they would get hard. Since that was super gross, I’m pretty sure that ruined any chance I had of liking Peeps.
Quick, what is some of your favorite Easter candy?
