Ever since LEGO announced they had the Marvel license, the whole world has been clamoring for a LEGO Marvel Superheros video game. Luckily for us, it’s coming, and it’s coming relatively soon. Come fall 2013 you’ll be able to waste hours and hours collecting studs as a whole slew of Marvel characters. Yes please.
There’s just something about what Traveller’s Tales has done with these games. Not every one is great, but some are really awesome. I don’t even want to know how many hours I’ve spent playing LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.

I can’t wait to stomp around smashing bricks as LEGO Hulk. That looks so awesome. I’m sure swinging around as Spider-Man or tearing apart enemies as Wolverine will be equally satisfying. From the official press release, it sounds like there will be a ton of characters:
Nick Fury calls upon Iron Man, the Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Wolverine and other heroes spanning the Marvel Universe to save Earth from such threats as the vengeance of Loki and the hunger of Galactus, Devourer of the Worlds,” they write. “players will unlock more than 100 characters from across the Marvel Universe, including fan favorites like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Wolverine, Captain America, the Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye, Deadpool, Loki and Galactus!
LEGO Galactus? Sold. It will be cool getting Spider-Man, Wolverine, an the Fantastic Four mixed with the other Marvel Superheros again. The whole multiple-studios-owning-rights-to-different-characters thing looks like it doesn’t apply here. Thank God.
