Green Lantern is one of those superhero movies I can’t really imagine working as a movie, but I think that’s why I’m so excited about it. The cast was chosen well, and I am particularly pumped about seeing Mark Strong as Sinestro. Mark Strong is badass.
The CG of the suit is a little plastic-looking, but they have a few months to improve that. I can’t wait to see the American superhero film genre get pumped full of space opera and move away from the tech (Iron Man) and dark (Dark Knight) monopolies.
