Nothing beats perfect timing. I’ve been making my way through the Batman: The Animated Series set lately and feeling the urge to watch Batman Beyond again. I loved the show growing up, and my wife has never seen it. I was about to start buying the seasons, but on November 23rd, WB is going to release a spiffy complete series set.
Heads up Super Friends fans, Season One Volume Two is out on DVD featuring eight more episodes of the original 1973 cartoon. Since this show was before my time, I wasn’t aware there had been so many different versions of it throughout the years, from The All-New Super Friends Hour to the Challenge of the Super Friends (and even some lost episodes). This DVD set continues the original series where the Season One Volume One set left off.
Consider me interested in anything Genndy Tartakovsky is involved with. From the looks of this clip, Sym-Bionic Titan doesn’t change that at all. Head over to Cartoon Brew for some first-look images.

Remember the Peanuts 1970s Collection: Vol 1 DVD set I reviewed a few months ago? Well, WB is at it again with the follow up, the Peanuts 1970s Collection: Vol 2.
The title pretty much explains it all, but this collection includes the following six Peanuts TV Specials on two discs:
Together with Volume 5 of X-Men, Buena Vista has released the complete 1994 Iron Man animated series on DVD. For one reason or another, I never watched this show in 94 so I was very interested in seeing it. Unfortunately, the cartoon isn’t as coherent or watchable as the X-Men show. If you’re like most people these days and get your image of Iron Man from the new films, I’d stay away from this one.
