Missing Links

The Top Hat Sasquatch team reads a lot of blog posts every day, and some slip through the crack or just don’t warrant their own post. That’s where Missing Links comes in. Every few days we collect the best links we’ve come across and pass them on to you.

Infinite Hollywood: Ninja Turtle Classic Collection Michelangelo Figure Review
Newton Gimmick over at Infinite Hollywood got his hands on a TMNT Classics Michelangelo figure early, and posted a very thorough review. My level of excitement for this line couldn't be higher right now. I can't wait to have these.

Events LEGO: LEGO Events @ Comic Con 2012 | From Bricks To Bothans
A good roundup of all the LEGO-related events at Comic-Con this year. I'm sure that Shazam! minifigure will sell like hotcakes on eBay.

2012 TMNT Guide to San Diego Comic-Con
A nice roundup of all the TMNT-related stuff you can expect to find at Comic-Con this year from Rose over at Ninja Pizza. One addition I would make, check out Alex Deligiannis' booth and pick up some sweet TMNT prints.

A visit to Geppi’s Entertainment Museum in Baltimore, Maryland — Cool and Collected
Brian from Cool and Collected took a trip to Geppi's Entertainment Museum, and boy does this place look awesome. The next time I'm in the Baltimore area I plan on stopping by here.

Nickelodeon’s ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Series Gets A Premiere Date
Can't wait to torrent watch this show when it comes on Nickelodeon!

This Summer’s Best Water Gun
Gizmodo always delivers on the water gun front every summer, and this year their round up has an interesting winner.

The Great Muppet Road Trip, part 2: Middle America « ToughPigs
I missed Part 1 of this series, but it's very cool if you're a Muppet fan. I can't wait to get down to Atlanta sometime and see the Puppetry museum.

Oni To Debut Limited Edition "Scott Pilgrim" Color Deluxe Packages – Comic Book Resources
I still haven't read the Scott Pilgrim books, even though I'm a huge fan of the movie. This looks like a good place to start.

SDCC Exclusive Shazam! Minifigure
Yet another thing I'm missing out on at SDCC this year.

A.I.M. Terrorist Group To Appear In IRON MAN 3?
We can only hope A.I.M. is going to be in Iron Man 3 so that we can get some MODOK in Captain America 2. Hey, a geek can hope!

Toyriffic: Kenner Super Powers Batmobile
Very cool vintage Batmobile toy profiled over at Toyriffic. I'd love to snag one of these somewhere.

Franklin the Turtle goes XXX | Cartoon Brew
Wait…what?

Do Fire Flowers Still Work In This Awesome Super Mario Aquarium?
Incredible Super Mario-themed Aquarium, but come one, how could they pass up recreating the swimming level instead of the first world?

Finding Nemo Blu-ray Finally Set for December 4th! | Pixar Talk
I've always thought 'Nemo' was going to be the best-looking Blu-ray once it was released. I can't wait to see this movie in HD for the first time.

ALF Movie in the Works? Maybe | /Film
For one reason or another, I haven’t written about Alf much on the site, but I love Alf. I still watch it occasionally and find it to be pretty funny still, and I’ve been patiently waiting until Gordon Shumway makes his way to the big screen. Plus, I’ve been wondering what Paul Fusco has been up to since the Alf days. I’d go see an Alf movie. Would you?

How Does THE DARK KNIGHT RISES End and Where Will BATMAN Begin Again?
I agree, I wouldn't be surprised at all if Batman dies at the end of TDKR. Think about it, Nolan’s Batman seems like a temporary hero, not a long term solution to Gotham’s problems. They’ve been marketing TDKR with phrases like The Epic Conclusion and The Legend Ends, almost like they’re preparing audiences for the possibility.

3D Simpsons Short Starring Maggie Simpson In Front Of “Ice Age 4″
I have no interest in seeing an Ice Age movie again, but seeing a Simpsons short film might be worth the price of admission. I’m still bummed I didn’t get to see the Simpsons Movie on the big screen, but seeing a short might help numb the pain.

Pixar’s “The Avengers”
What the Avengers would look like if they were Pixar characters. Some interesting choices here, but you have to love Sully as Hulk.

LEGO Super Heroes Marvel Comics Review: 6869 Quinjet Aerial Battle
An insanely thorough review of an Avengers LEGO set I can't wait to pick up on From Bricks To Bothans. The Quinjet looks like a beast, but what's up with Black Widow's minifig?

“Looney Tunes: Mouse Chronicles” | Cartoon Brew
More classic animation on Blu-ray. That makes me happy. Jerry Beck also teases "Consider this a hint that some of the most sought after animation the company owns is headed to DVD and blu-ray within the next year".

Micro Transformer | Flickr – Photo Sharing!
Micro scale LEGO creations are starting to grow on me. They seem like the purest form of LEGO building, and this tiny Transformer is a perfect example. Crazy.

Every Batman Poster. Ever. – Poster Collective
A nice roundup of every Batman poster ever, as according to Poster Collective. Batman Forever actually had some cool posters.
