Giveaway: 8-Bit Retro NES Toploader
September 24th, 2009 by Tommy Day
To help celebrate Saturday Morning Central’s new design, I’m giving away one Retro Entertainment System NES Toploader. All you have to do is leave a comment, and say what your favorite NES game is, and I will pick one winner randomly! Make sure to use a valid email address, because that’s how I will contact you.
The Retro Entertainment System will play your old NES cartridges, because sometimes having your retro games in physical form is still cooler than using emulators.
The contest ends on October 1st at 5:00pm EST.
What are you waiting for?
Contest is closed.

I was always a nerd for Section Z to be honest.
BTW, I like the new design. I’m really digging the switch in feel from a more bloggy layout to a more news-ish kind of feel.
I also like that you ditched the image of the building blocks at the bottom (they felt a bit too Babies-R-Us.)

Being a motoXer, I also gotta give it up for Excite Bike.

Oooh, my husband has stacks of NES games that I bet he would love for us and our children to play together! It would be so cool to have this terrific Retro Entertainment System NES Toploader to play them with. Some favs are The Legend of Zelda, Friday the 13th, ummm, trying to think of more Defender of the Crown, Mad Max and of course the classic Pac-Man. I could list about 25 more that he has for sure, but do you really…..no didn’t think so! You totally rock for hosting such a terrific giveaway!

I have a soft spot for Double Dragon 2, especially the fight on the helicopter, but my true love remains Bionic Commando – my first experience of console gaming. How on earth I ever had the patience to play the frustrating bloody thing, especially as a child, I’ll never know.
